Things to note

• Each connection syncs one Square location. To sync several locations, add a separate connection for each one.
• SyncPenguin only updates stock quantities. Products must already exist in Square with a SKU or barcode, and product details such as names, prices, and images are not synced.
• Each SKU or barcode must be unique in Square. Items with missing or duplicate SKUs or barcodes are skipped to avoid updating the wrong product.
• Only in-stock quantities are synced, in whole units. Inventory tracking should be turned on in Square for the items you want to sync.

Yes. SyncPenguin syncs Square stock levels with Shopify, WooCommerce, Squarespace, BigCommerce, Xero, Zettle, and other Square locations, in one direction or both directions.

How does SyncPenguin match products between Square and my other store?

Products are matched by SKU by default. If your systems share barcodes instead, you can switch to barcode (UPC) matching. Make sure each SKU or barcode is unique in every connected system.

How quickly are stock changes synced?

Square notifies SyncPenguin whenever your inventory changes, so updates usually reach your other channels within moments. Regular background checks also make sure no change is missed.

Can I sync inventory between multiple Square locations?

Yes. Connect each Square location as its own account in SyncPenguin, then create a sync between them to keep their stock levels aligned.

Will SyncPenguin create or delete products in Square?

No. SyncPenguin only syncs inventory quantities for products that already exist. Your product catalog, prices, and descriptions stay exactly as you manage them in Square.

Can I sync only some of my Square products?

Yes. You can limit syncing to a specific list of SKUs or barcodes, so only those products are kept in sync.

What happens to my existing stock levels when I start syncing?
