Key features
Two-Way Sync
Keep Salesforce contacts and your other apps in sync in both directions, or push updates only one way. New, updated and deleted contacts are handled automatically.
Custom Fields
Sync your own Salesforce fields, including text, checkboxes, numbers, currency, percentages, dates, picklists and multi-select picklists.
Smart Account Linking
A contact's company is automatically linked to the matching Salesforce Account. If no matching Account exists, one is created for you.
Deletion Tracking
Contacts deleted in Salesforce can be removed from your other apps too, so outdated records don't pile up.
Sandbox Support
Connect a Salesforce Sandbox to test your sync setup safely before going live with your production data.
Affordable & Scalable
With SyncPenguin you only pay for changes to your data, regardless of how many contacts you initially have, or will have in the future.

Things to note
- Your Salesforce edition must include API access. This is included in Enterprise, Unlimited, Performance and Developer editions, and available for Professional edition as an add-on.
- This connector syncs Salesforce Contacts. Leads and other objects are not included. Salesforce calendar events can be synced with the separate Salesforce Calendar Meetings connector.
- Salesforce stores one primary email per contact. Additional email addresses from other apps can be mapped to custom email fields using custom rules.
- Salesforce has one field per phone type (work, mobile, home, fax, other, assistant) and two addresses (Mailing and Other), so only one value of each type is synced.
- Companies are matched to Salesforce Accounts by exact name. If no Account with that name exists, a new one is created automatically.
- Salesforce requires a last name. When a contact only has a first name, it is saved as the last name so the contact can still be created.
- Custom lookup (relationship) fields and date/time fields are not available for syncing. Custom date fields are synced as dates without a time.
- If Salesforce duplicate rules or validation rules are active, contacts that break those rules won't be created until the rule or data is adjusted.
- If State and Country picklists are enabled in Salesforce, synced address values must match the allowed options. Custom rules can be used to standardize them.
- Changes are picked up during regular sync runs rather than instantly, so updates may take a short time to appear.
