SyncPenguin's connector for Salesforce calendar meetings
Sync your Salesforce calendar meetings two-way or one-way with other apps and services
How does it work?
What can Salesforce calendar meetings be synced with?
Popular real-world use cases
- Import holidays, company events, or booking tool schedules from an .ICS calendar feed into Salesforce automatically.
Key features
Two-Way Sync
Create, update, or delete a meeting in Salesforce or your other calendar, and the change automatically appears on the other side.
Recurring Meetings
Daily, weekly, every-weekday, monthly, and yearly recurring series are synced as real recurring events, not as loose copies.
Recurrence Exceptions
Individually rescheduled, edited, or cancelled occurrences of a series stay accurate across calendars.
Privacy & Availability
Sync private flags and Busy, Free, or Out of Office status so your availability is correct everywhere.
Flexible Rules
Use no-code filters and custom rules to control which meetings sync and how titles, descriptions, and other fields are mapped.
Affordable & Scalable
With SyncPenguin you only pay for changes to your data, regardless of how many meetings you initially have, or will have in the future.
Supported fields
Things to note
- Attendees, reminders, related Salesforce records (such as Contacts, Leads, or Opportunities), and custom fields are not synced. The connector focuses on core meeting details and scheduling.
- Only meetings you own or have been invited to (accepted or not yet answered) are synced. Changes to meetings owned by other Salesforce users are not written back to Salesforce, to protect their data.
- Salesforce limits how long a recurring series can run: about 100 days for daily, about one year for weekly, about 5 years for monthly, and about 10 years for yearly series. Open-ended series from other calendars are created in Salesforce up to these limits.
- To keep syncing fast, ongoing sync of single (non-recurring) meetings focuses on recent and upcoming meetings. Changes to meetings older than about 30 days are not picked up.
- During the initial merge, recurring series that ended more than a month ago are skipped, because they no longer affect your schedule.
- Your Salesforce edition must include API access (for example Enterprise, Unlimited, Performance, or Developer, or Professional with API access enabled).
