Sync your Apple iCloud calendar meetings two-way or one-way with other apps and services

Many people keep personal or family events in Apple iCloud Calendar while their work schedule lives in Google Calendar, Outlook or Microsoft 365. Because these calendars don't talk to each other, it's easy to double-book yourself, miss appointments or waste time re-entering events by hand. This connector keeps iCloud Calendar in sync with your other calendars automatically, so your availability is always accurate everywhere and you only have to update an event once.

How does it work?

The Apple iCloud Calendar Meetings connector lets you automatically sync events from any of your iCloud calendars with Google Calendar, Outlook, Microsoft 365, Exchange and other calendar apps. You can set up one-way or two-way syncing, keep recurring events and their exceptions intact, and control exactly which events are synced and how they look using SyncPenguin's no-code filters, field mapping and custom rules. Your iPhone, iPad and Mac calendar stays up to date with your work and personal calendars, without manual copying.

Popular real-world use cases

  • Two-way sync your personal iCloud Calendar with your Google Calendar so all your appointments appear on every device you use.
  • Block time in your Microsoft 365 work calendar whenever you have a personal event in iCloud Calendar, syncing it only as a private 'Busy' event so colleagues can't double-book you.
  • One-way sync your Outlook Calendar meetings to iCloud Calendar so you can see your work schedule in the Apple Calendar app on your iPhone, Mac or Apple Watch.
  • Keep a shared family iCloud calendar in sync with each parent's Google Calendar so school events, appointments and activities are visible to everyone.
  • Merge events from multiple work calendars in Google Calendar and Microsoft 365 into a single iCloud calendar to get one consolidated view of your whole day.
  • Sync your Exchange On-Premises company calendar with iCloud Calendar so your work meetings show up alongside personal events on your Apple devices.
  • Import events from a public .ICS calendar feed (such as holidays, sports schedules or class timetables) into your iCloud Calendar automatically.
  • Sync customer meetings from Salesforce into iCloud Calendar so sales reps always have their appointments on their iPhone.
  • Sync only events that contain a specific keyword (for example, 'Client' or 'Team') from iCloud Calendar to a Microsoft 365 Group Calendar so the whole team sees relevant appointments.

Key features

Two-Way Sync

Keep iCloud Calendar and your other calendars in sync in both directions, or choose one-way syncing when you only need a copy.

Recurring Events

Repeating events are synced with their full pattern, including deleted occurrences and individually changed occurrences.

Time Zone Accuracy

Event times and time zones are preserved, and all-day events stay all-day, so events land at the right time on every calendar.

Busy Time Blocking

Share your availability without exposing details by syncing events as simple 'Busy' blocks using no-code rules.

Flexible Filters

Choose exactly which events get synced and how they look, based on subject, location, time, recurrence and more.

Affordable & Scalable

With SyncPenguin you only pay for changes to your data, regardless of how many meetings you initially have, or will have in the future.

Supported fields

Subject Start time End time All-day event Time zone Location Description URL Is recurring (read-only) Recurrence pattern Deleted occurrences Recurrence exceptions

Things to note

  • Each connection syncs one selected iCloud calendar. To sync several iCloud calendars, simply add a separate sync flow for each calendar.
  • Event start time, end time and the all-day setting need to be included in the field mapping (they are mapped automatically by default) so events can be created and updated correctly.
  • Attendees, reminders/alerts and attachments are not synced. The connector focuses on the core event details such as title, time, location, description and recurrence.
  • To keep syncing fast and relevant, events that ended more than about a month ago (and recurring series that finished more than a month ago) are not synced.
  • iCloud does not support custom fields for calendar events, so custom field mapping isn't available for this connector.
  • Changes in iCloud Calendar are picked up during regular sync runs rather than instantly, so updates may take a few minutes to appear on the other side.
